It’s a great time to be a school-leaver. Never before have there been so many different careers out there – and with the right education and training, your dream job could be just a few steps away.

The number of choices out there can be overwhelming. So start by thinking about what you’re good at and what you like doing. Do you get your highest marks in English or maybe your strength is maths or cooking? Perhaps you enjoy working with your hands in the great outdoors?

The important thing is not to stress-out. No decision you make will be final. These days most people go through several different jobs - and even careers - during their working life. Lots of today’s jobs didn’t even exist 10 years ago. So keep an open mind and be prepared to explore a wide variety of options.
